Awaken Faith Dialogue
Even though we are all given a measure of faith by God the Father, what happens to that faith is fully determined by you and me. Since life does not come in a box, wrapped with a neat bow, we must constantly honor Jesus with our faith. In good times, in hard times, in expected times, and in times of surprise, all the time, our focus is to be towards God.
Our approach to life through the Holy Spirit yields God’s greatness. The Holy Spirit: has life, has a will, is omniscient (all-knowing), is eternal (endless), and is omnipresent (ever present). From Him we get the boldness, ability, and self-discipline to follow God’s will, and purpose to live by.
Our bodies are a blessing from God, containers for God’s glory, able to perform (walk in) the purpose He has placed on the inside of us. As daughters of our Father, God, we must be good stewards of our body. They are powerful, well oiled, and focus-driven – when we put them in the hands of our Savior, guided by the Holy Spirit.
Our minds are powerful, which explains why God designed us to function from the Spirit realm, to achieve balance! As Christians, we must continually process the Spirit’s direction with the aim of it showing up in our minds. It is the grace of God that enables us to run the race of life without the defeat of weights or entanglements.
Everything we know about God is based on His Heart! God demonstrates his own love for us through Christ Jesus. God never has to make up His mind about us, He is never surprised at what we do, think, or say, and he will never leave or forsake us in who we are. We were created to communicate and commune with Him Heart to heart.
Change is a transition, a spiritual crisis – with wisdom and grace, one of the most significant growth points of our lives. Our faith should mirror God’s presence, to have knowledge of the differences between us and the character of our world – to help us respond to our circumstances without turbulent reactions. This requires courage. Saying yes to our lives and saying no to that which is not us. It requires a profound level of honesty – we stop living with illusions about who we are or wish we were – and accept the life that has been given to us.
The Cross brings the love of God into our hearts and minds! That love makes us brave and strong as we encounter struggle in this life, because He has overcome the world. The joy of Jesus conquers with peace, so that peace becomes our song. The light that we get from the Cross is amazing grace – as the Holy Spirit (our friend
and comforter) moves on in, we are forever changed. Let us embrace Him, choose a greater reliance on the Spirit’s guidance, and walk tall in our faith.
This dialogue happens because of our faith. The Cross is the only One-and-Done part about Christianity. Our faith must be refreshed and awakened to new levels in Christ all the time. There’s a LION living inside of us, because of our FAITH!
