Awaken Faith LIFT’s Goals
To plant seeds that connect a women’s essence of body, mind and spirit at this age/stage of life with Jesus. To reinforce the cycle of faith – hope – prayer – trusting God – and walking while we wait. To build long term associations with women after the conference ends.
As We Faith Forward
Let us form a broader sense of community – caring, learning and sharing together. Let us challenge any negative person, place or thing, that would block excelling with God. Let us grow in spiritual awareness, and redefine our self-esteem from the inside-out.

2024 Awaken Faith Calendar
March 16th, 10:00 am –12:00 pm | The Cross | Resurrection Sunday! Something died on Friday and something came alive on Sunday. We will create a time line of our own personal journey, as it relates to what the Cross represents for us. |
| April 20th, 10;00 am – 12:00 pm | The Faith Fight | The enemy seeks to render our faith knell and void. We will take inventory of the inner me to uncover illusions against our faith. |
May 18th, 10:00 am –12:00 pm | About Pentecost Sunday | 50 days after Resurrection Sunday, we recall how the Holy Spirit was given to the disciples after Jesus’ ascension; empowering them to begin the work of making disciples of all nations. Our group will explore and share what this means for us today. |
June 15th, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm | Nurturing From Within | Women’s Faith Conference Nurture Body & Soul – Edify the Mind – Comfort the Heart. This event will promote spiritual peace, self-esteem and strong voices (there’s a lion inside of us), that revel faith in action. It will support 55+ women in being healthy, and whole, living our lives through Christ. Join us at Family Church in the Teen Room. You can expect faith, fun, food, a special speaker, a few Family Church leaders, and of course a gift bag to show up! See above pages for more info. |
July 28th 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm | Reflection Sunday | This group has been discussing the faithfulness of God in how He enables us to live each day in faith. We have touched on topics about many things that are important and relevant to women 55+. Today, let’s gather to share how we’ve grown and to suggest topics or activities for the next semester in September. Join us in the Meeting Room after Church, refreshments will be served, please RSVP. |

All that hope does is to imply a little certainty, and otherwise suggests confidence or assurance in the possibility that what one desires or longs for will happen. Hope is that feeling of expectation and desire. With all that is going on in the world, in our communities, and in our house – how does hope look and can it reign?
