Kick Trouble Out of Christmas

Jesus is a love worth finding. He’s an every-day-of-the-week kind of Savior. Do you need some peace, some direction in difficult situations, some vision and wisdom for the road ahead, or some emotional support and physical healing? He’s your source. You are more than enough to Him…the one who knows “all” of your business and still loves and provides for you anyway!

Have you ever said, “If one more thing goes wrong, I’m gonna…!” And then it did? Or maybe I should say when was the last time you said that? We all get a chance to experience the chaos of life. The key can be found in how we go into and come out of the chaos.

We cannot stop things from happening. We cannot make people do the right things. And we cannot escape the pain of disappointment or tragedy. However, we can keep firm in our faith by seeking, honoring, and allowing the love of God to be active in our lives.

Busyness, confusion, and lacking certain things are but a few of the enemy’s distractions. They can keep us from building and keeping a relationship with Jesus. It’s the relationship that keeps us through trouble—it’s how we use the Word as a weapon to be victorious. We must learn how to let the Word do the work. Learn how to believe even though “it” (whatever the issue) is yet to be seen.

O holy night!
The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of the dear Savior’s birth!
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till he appeared and the soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary soul rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn!
Oh, night when Christ was born; Oh, night divine.

Being a child of the Most High God and believing that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior entitles you to the “whosoever will” (promises) in the Bible. Jesus loves you—even when you doubt or are in fear, even when you don’t trust Him to do that which only He can do in your life, and even when you blame Him for the difficulties in and around you. Why? Because you were worth dying on the cross for.

The Father, God, knew before you ever set foot on planet Earth what it would take to bring you through.

He knows what He put in you, and it will work—if you work it. Just because crap exists around us does not mean that God is unaware of the world’s situations, or not in control. Trouble is the time to trust Him on a higher level. Trouble exposes what you really believe and demonstrates the sometimes-hidden abilities you can put to use in that time of trouble.

This may not be a new message for you. It may be a refresher, coming at a time when things are rough. It may be a message that you feel led to share, so that someone else can think about trusting Jesus Christ—especially during a rough time in their life.

And if you have just survived a mess and know that had it not been for the Lord, you would not have made it, add a comment and let someone else know about it! We serve an awesome God—who sent us Jesus, the reason for the season and life itself.

Peace be unto you!
